Why Faculty of Dentistry

The chance to provide public dental and oral services, help to maintain oral health, and educate the public about how to maintain dental and oral health. Not only that, dental and oral problems are not limited to simple, ordinary pain but can also be an indicator of other diseases. Thus, we can help to detect the disease before it gets worse.

Why Faculty of Dentistry USU

As the first and the oldest Faculty of Dentistry in North Sumatera, it has been producing alumni of Dentists, Orthodontic Specialists, Prosthodontic Specialists, Periodontic Specialists, Conservative Dentistry Specialists, and Dentistry Masters and Doctoral. Today, FKG USU has accreditation of A for the Academic Study Program (0488/LAM/PTKes/Akr/Sar/VIII/2017) and for the Professional Study Program (0489/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/VIII/2017). FKG USU has a Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU), which is a supporting facility for professional students and specialists at FKG, and it provides services to the public.

Why USU?

Universitas Sumatera Utara is equipped with supporting facilities for students' learning activities and supporting infrastructures for the students to create and express themselves, such as USU Auditorium, RSP USU, USU Dental and Oral Hospital, USU Transport Bus (LinUS), USU Integrated Laboratory, and many others. It also provides student psychology counselling, directly treated by experienced professionals.
