Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU)
RSGM USU is a dental and oral health service facility that is also used as a place of learning, education and research for the dental health professions, and is bound through collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry and the Collegium of Dentistry. under the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1173/MENKES/PER/IX/2004 articles 8 and 9. In its implementation, RSGM USU provides facilities and infrastructure in accordance with its functions, namely providing basic dental medical services, specialistics, supporting services, referral services, emergency services, education, research, and development.
RSGM USU currently provides 8 types of outpatient clinic services, namely the Oral Disease Clinic, Periodontics Clinic, Conservative Dentistry Clinic, Orthodontics Clinic, Prosthodontics Clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, Pediatric Dentistry Clinic and Preventive Dentistry/Community Dentistry Clinic. In addition to outpatient services, the USU General Hospital is also equipped with medical support services such as Pharmacy, Radiology and Sterilization Centers as well as adequate AMDAL facilities. The Information and Management System at the USU Hospital has also been centralized through the Hospital Information System (SIRS) from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
