Exactly today, five lecturers from the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG), namely Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. Subsp.PKOA(K), Dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari S.Psi., Sp.Perio, Subsp.MP(K), drg. Kholidina Imanda Harahap M.DSc, drg.Vero represented by Dr. drg. Ervina Sofyanti Sp.Ort, Subsp.DDTK(K), and drg.Ika Astrina MDSc has obtained Patent Rights from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) at the LIPIHKI Hall. The five lecturers succeeded in developing significant innovations in the field of dentistry that were officially recognized by the government.
The innovations granted patents cover various areas, from dental technology to revolutionary oral health products. This achievement marks a milestone in research and development at FKG, and significantly boosts scientific progress in Indonesia.
Dean of the Faculty, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. Subsp.PKOA(K) expressed her pride for this outstanding achievement and expressed her commitment to continue supporting research and innovation at the Faculty. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia and industry to produce innovative solutions in dentistry.
Lecturers who receive Patents will continue to be encouraged to develop new ideas and continue research that has the potential to positively impact society and the dental industry. This achievement is hoped to inspire future generations to pursue excellence in research and innovation in Indonesia.
