The signing of the collaboration between the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), and Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital took place on Wednesday, February 19, 2022, at FKG USU. The signing was represented by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, and the Head of Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital, Dr. Mhd. Irsan Basyroel, Sp.KK, FINSDV, M.H. This collaboration aims to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and activities in dental and oral health programs at Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital. This agreement aims to achieve competence in dental and oral health, particularly in the specialties of conservative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics at FKG USU and Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital.
The scope of the agreement includes: 1) implementation of health services in the fields of Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics, dental professional and specialist professions, and as consultants in Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics in dental and oral health services at Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital; 2) Acting as mentors for general dentists in the field of conservation of dental professions and consultants for specialist dentists specializing in Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics in dental and oral health services at Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital; and 3) Putri Hijau Second Level Hospital serves as the venue for the Dental Education Program specializing in Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Orthodontics for complex cases.
This collaboration is valid for three years from the date of signing by both parties.
