Handover of Professional Program in Dentistry Students to USU Dental and Oral Hospital for the 2026/2027 Academic Year A total of 74 students from the Professional Program in Dentistry of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), were officially handed over to the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) to undertake their professional education during the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. 18 August 2026

PKKMB Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Sumatera Utara, August 12–14, 2026 Medan — On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 143 new students participated in the PKKMB at the Faculty of Dentistry after attending the University-level PKKMB opening ceremony at the USU Twin Field. At the faculty level, the program began with a group photo at the Faculty of Dentistry parking area, followed by activities in the Nazir Alwi Room, a campus clean-up, and a tour of the Faculty of Dentistry. 12 August 2026

Work Visit and Socialization of the 2026 Work Program of the Directorate of Innovation, Sustainable Development, and Science and Technology Areas (DITIPBKST) USU Medan, July 29, 2026 — The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), successfully held a socialization session on the 2026 Work Program of the Directorate of Innovation, Sustainable Development, and Science and Technology Areas (Dit. IPBKST) USU, attended by representatives of Dit. IPBKST, the faculty leadership, and FKG USU lecturers. The event opened with remarks from the Secretary of DITIPBKST USU, Prof. Dr. Apri Heri Iswanto, S.Hut., M.Si., who emphasized the importance of synergy in accelerating innovation and research commercialization. The session was followed by remarks from the Vice Dean I of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Ika Andryas, M.Sc., who reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to supporting lecturers in producing innovative works that benefit society. 29 July 2026
