The Specialist Program in Periodontics FKG USU is the only periodontia specialist education center located on the island of Sumatra in the western part of Indonesia. The Specialist Program in Periodontics FKG USU has a vision to become a Specialist Program in Periodontics that excels in periodontal tissue regeneration technology based on natural resources and art and has a global outlook. To achieve this vision, The Specialist Program in Periodontics FKG USU is committed to continuously improving the quality of education by implementing education, research, and service according to national standards to produce academic people who are devoted to God Almighty, innovative, have integrity, resilient, and wise. Established in 2010 and began accepting students in 2011. The Specialist Program in Periodontics at FKG USU has graduated 27 periodontist dentists spread from D.I. Aceh Province to Kalimantan Island. These graduates work in various fields, from government agencies to the private sector to entrepreneurs. The Specialist Program in Periodontics FKG USU always maintains friendship and cooperation with all alums, as well as government and private agencies, both at home and abroad, to achieve the study program's vision. The Periodontia specialization focuses on education and skills in the non-surgical and surgical management of periodontal disease, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, periodontal medicine, and dental implants. We are waiting with open arms for fellow dentists everywhere who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the periodontal field to join us at The Specialist Program in Periodontics FKG USU.
