The Board of Trustees of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) visited the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) USU for a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity to assess the development of education and research at FKG. The visit aimed to strengthen the synergy between the managing institution and the faculty and enhance the quality of dental education programs.

This Monev activity was part of an ongoing effort to improve the quality of education and research at FKG USU. During the visit, USU Board of Trustees members had the opportunity to directly observe the educational and research facilities available at FKG and listen to the latest progress reports from the leadership and academic staff.
In his speech, the Chairperson of the USU Board of Trustees highlighted the importance of FKG USU's role in producing qualified human resources in dentistry. He emphasized the need for collaboration between the managing institution and the faculty to continually improve the quality of education and research, ensuring that graduates can compete nationally and internationally.
During the visit, the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, Subsp.PKOA(K), warmly welcomed the USU Board of Trustees and expressed appreciation for their attention to the development of FKG. "This visit is important for us to share information about our achievements and the challenges we face at FKG. We are committed to continuously improving the quality of education and research to produce qualified graduates capable of making significant contributions to the field of dentistry," she said.
