In his remarks, the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., encouraged students to make their university years an opportunity to continue learning, develop their potential, build character, and have the courage to adapt to changes and challenges in the times. Students were also encouraged to build networks, collaborate, and make meaningful contributions to society.
The atmosphere became even more festive with a performance by Bilal Indra Jaya. The event continued with the launch of the USU Dies Natalis logo, symbolizing the spirit of moving forward and growing together, followed by the official presentation of Student Identity Cards (KTM) as a symbol of the beginning of students’ journey as members of the USU community.
The closing of PKKMB was not merely the end of the new-student welcoming series, but the beginning of a new journey to stay connected, grow, and contribute. In line with SDG 4: Quality Education, PKKMB serves as an initial step toward developing a generation that is knowledgeable, adaptive, creative, and of strong character, while being prepared to face future challenges.
