The USU alumni gathering and the appointment of the IKA USU FKG Malaysia Region management were held at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI) building in Kuala Lumpur on February 26, 2023.
The event was attended by 60 people, including representatives from the IKA USU Central Management, Mr. Chairul Munadi, and the IKA USU FKG management, represented by Drg. Wahid Khusairy, other IKA USU FKG management members, the FKG USU dean's office, alumni from IKA USU FKG Medan and Jakarta, and alumni from FKG USU Malaysia.
Drg. Wahid appointed the management of the IKA USU FKG Malaysia Region, led by Drg. Nazim Bin Abdul Malek. Additionally, Mr. Chairul declared the immediate formation of the IKA USU Malaysia Region, entrusting alumni from FKG, Pharmacy, Medicine, Law, and Social and Political Sciences faculties to initiate its establishment.
Drg. Datuk Wan Nasir, the first FKG USU alumnus from Malaysia, also attended the event. He offered advice on how the newly formed IKA USU FKG can grow successfully and play an active role in advancing the beloved FKG USU alma mater.
