The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), through the Master's Program in Dental Science carried out the opening of accreditation. This event was marked by the presence of Prof. Dr. drg. Eha Renwi Astuti, M.Kes., Sp.RKG(K), and Dr. drg. Mochammad Taha Ma'ruf, M.Erg., CMC, who acted as assessors from the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes).

During her visit, Prof. Dr. drg. Eha Renwi Astuti, M.Kes., Sp.RKG(K) and Dr. drg. Mochammad Taha Ma'ruf, M.Erg., CMC, was welcomed by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. Subsp.PKOA(K). Their presence marked an important step for the FKG USU Master's Program in Dental Science in obtaining accreditation and confirming the quality and standards of higher education in the field of dental science.

Also attending the event was Vice-Chancellor IV of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc., who fully supported efforts to improve the quality and standards of education within the university.

Dean of USU's Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. Subsp.PKOA(K), stated, "We are very excited to welcome the presence of the assessors from LAM-PTKes. This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to the quality of education and the development of dentistry at an advanced level."

The opening of the accreditation of the Master's Program in Dental Science is an important milestone for FKG USU, strengthening its reputation and position as one of the leading educational institutions in Indonesia. With the full support of the assessors and related parties, FKG USU is optimistic that it can fulfill all the requirements and achieve the expected accreditation.

The opening ceremony of this accreditation is also an important momentum for FKG USU to continue to improve the quality of education and research in the field of dentistry, as well as to produce qualified graduates who are ready to compete at the global level.

We hope that the results of this accreditation process will provide great benefits for the progress of the USU Faculty of Dentistry and its contribution in producing superior human resources in the field of dentistry.
