The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), in collaboration with Pepsodent Indonesia, hosted a spectacular event to celebrate the Opening of National Dental Health Month (BKGN) 2024! Held at the FKG USU building, the event aimed to raise awareness and promote oral and dental health among the community.
In the spirit of delivering the best services, the program offered free dental and oral care as well as teledentistry services, which are expected to significantly improve the public’s dental health.
The event commenced with a prayer led by Drg. Armia Syahputra, Sp.Perio (K), followed by the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” which filled the atmosphere with a sense of pride. The harmonious voices of the FKG USU Choir added warmth to the occasion, fostering a strong sense of unity among attendees.
In his address, Dr. Drg. Ahyar Riza, Sp.B.M.M., Subsp. C.O.M. (K), the Chairman of the BKGN 2024 Committee, along with notable figures such as Mr. Imam Pratomo from Unilever and leaders of FKG USU, emphasized the importance of collective efforts in promoting dental health in the community. They called on everyone to unite to create a society that is more aware of the importance of dental care.
With enthusiasm and commitment, it is hoped that BKGN 2024 will educate and inspire the community to take better care of their oral and dental health. Let us work together towards an Indonesia with healthier and more beautiful smiles!
