This activity featured the USU SINTA Synchronization Socialization and Assistance Team, represented by Ahmad Riza and Fahira from the Directorate of Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing (DITP3I) USU. Representing FKG USU was the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Assets, Dr. drg. Ahyar Riza, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf. The activity was also attended by department heads, heads of study programs, and lecturers within FKG USU.

The activity began with an opening session, followed by remarks from the Vice Dean II of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Ahyar Riza, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf., representing the Dean of FKG USU. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of updating and synchronizing SINTA data as part of lecturer performance data management, particularly in supporting research and scientific publication activities within higher education institutions.

Moving into the main session, Ahmad Riza and Fahira delivered a presentation on SINTA account synchronization, including information and important aspects that lecturers need to consider to ensure that the data in their respective SINTA accounts is accurate and up to date.

The socialization was then followed by direct assistance to lecturers throughout the account synchronization process.

Participants demonstrated great enthusiasm during the discussion and question-and-answer session, which provided lecturers with opportunities to raise questions, seek consultations, and receive explanations regarding various aspects of SINTA account management and synchronization.

Through this activity, FKG USU continues to encourage comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date data management, particularly concerning lecturers' research records and scientific publications. The updating and synchronization of SINTA data are expected to support academic performance management while strengthening the research and scientific publication ecosystem within FKG USU.

The activity concluded with expressions of gratitude to the DITP3I USU SINTA Synchronization Socialization and Assistance Team, FKG USU leadership, and all lecturers who participated. This activity is expected to provide benefits and serve as a concrete step toward improving the quality of research and publication data management at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

This activity also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
