FKG USU 4/09, Dental Conservation PPDGS is preparing to face Specialist Study Program Accreditation. In this case, LAM PTKes sent Assessors Prof. drg. Suryono, S.H., MM, Ph.D and Dr. Hendra Dian Adhita Sp.KG, Subsp.KE (K) on Monday, 4 September 2023, at the USU Faculty of Dentistry.
During the visit, assessors from LAM PTKes arranged several assessment agendas, starting with the opening, presentation of the Head of Dental Conservation PPDGS FKG USU, presentation of physical evidence, and interviews (tender, students, and lecturers). All of them were carried out on the first day of Visitation from LAM-PTKes Assessors.
In his speech, Prof. Drg. Suryono, S.H., MM, Ph.D., expressed his great pleasure in coming to USU because of its unique story. “This is the first time I have met a rector who speaks honestly about the development of his university.”
I also enjoyed meeting with Internal Assessor Prof. Drg. Ismet Danial Nasution, Ph.D., Sp.Pros(K) is an advantage for FKG USU in carrying out accreditation. Because he is still active as an assessor, the value of improving accreditation has been understood. This activity focused on on-campus facilities and was carried out for two days.
There was something unique during the visit to several facilities at the USU FKG; interest immediately arose and was immediately expressed by Prof. Dibyo (a familiar greeting) expressing his desire to build a facility like the USU FKG UJI Lab in the area, namely Yogyakarta because it coincided with Prof. Dibyo's domicile and service in the area.
The Dean of FKG USU expressed his wish for PPDGS Periodontia to produce maximum results. He also welcomed the assessors who attended and entertained them like their own teachers. Doctor Yanti also expressed a warm welcome, feeling welcomed like a brother with hospitality to food dishes that made her a little fat.
Continuing with the assessment given by the assessors became the focus when the assessors presented the field assessment results to the participants. PPDGS Periodonsia also straightened out some things they thought were wrong, so they changed the assessment results. Behind the tense presentation and argumentation of the assessment, the assessors give meaningful input to build PPDGS Periodonsia in the future.
The end of the event was closed by taking a group photo and eating together to add to the close relationship of both parties.
