The activity, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Nazir Alwi Room of the Faculty of Dentistry USU, was conducted in a hybrid format through Zoom Meeting, allowing parents residing outside Medan to participate and follow the entire series of activities.

The event began with an opening, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and a prayer, followed by remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, Dr. drg. Ika Andryas, M.Sc. The activity continued with a presentation on the Academic Education System by drg. Kholidina Imanda Harahap, M.DSc., and the Professional Education System by drg. Siska Ella Natassa, M.DSc. In addition to serving as a forum for information sharing and discussion, the activity also provided parents with an opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue during the question-and-answer session. The series of activities continued with the establishment of the 2026/2027 Student Parents Association (POM) Management Board before concluding with a group photo.

The composition of the 2026 POM Management Board listed in the document consists of dr. Amri Fadli as Chairperson, dr. Ivo Syafrina as Secretary, and dr. Yessy Yasmina as Treasurer. Through this activity, the Faculty of Dentistry USU continues to build open communication between the faculty and students' parents as part of efforts to create a collaborative, informative, and sustainable educational environment.

This activity also supports the achievement of SDG 4 – Quality Education through strengthening communication and parental support for students' academic and professional education processes. It also supports SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening partnerships and collaboration among the Faculty of Dentistry USU, students' parents, and all stakeholders in supporting students' educational success.
