The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), represented by Dean Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA, signed a cooperation agreement with the Indonesian National Police Medical and Health Center (Pusdokkes Polri), represented by Dr. dr. Rusdianto, M.M., M.Si., DFM, Head of Pusdokkes Polri, on Monday, January 31, 2022. This cooperation agreement is the foundation for both parties to conduct Specialist Dental Doctor, Master's, and Doctorate programs in Dental Science through the Special Representative Admission Program (PPUK). The goal of this collaboration is to produce high-quality Specialist Dental Doctors and Master and Doctoral graduates in Dental Science who will serve in government agencies/regions through education, research, and community service.
The scope of the cooperation includes educational activities where FKG USU provides educational facilities to Pusdokkes for the Specialist Dental Doctor, Master's, and Doctoral programs in Dental Science at FKG USU. The prospective students under the PPUK pathway are special representatives from government agencies/civil servants in Pusdokkes Polri, funded by the Pusdokkes Polri's budget allocation, and will serve in their respective government agencies upon completion of their education. This cooperation is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of signing.
