The Indonesian Health Facility Accreditation Agency (LAFKI) conducted a supervisory visit for the RSGM (Dental and Oral Hospital) USU accreditation from April 10 to 11. This two-day event aimed to assess the quality and standards of RSGM USU.
The opening ceremony on the first day was attended by Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, Vice Rector I of Universitas Sumatera Utara, representing the Rector of USU. LAFKI assessors included Dr. dr. Ratna Indrawati Dk, M.Kes, CiQnR, FIHFAA, and drg. Rahaju Soelistyawati, M.Kes. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, and the Director of RSGM USU, drg. Rahmi Syaflida, Sp.BM(K) and other key figures were also present.
Following the opening ceremony, the activities proceeded with interviews involving hospital leadership, the Supervisory Board, committees, and field inspections. The first day's activities concluded in the evening and resumed the next day, focusing on simulations of core red and core blue systems and completing document reviews related to accreditation. The visit concluded with an exit briefing by the surveyor team.
All employees and staff of RSGM USU participated actively, ensuring the success of the accreditation process conducted by LAFKI. The Director of RSGM USU, drg. Rahmi Syaflida, Sp.BM(K) expressed her hopes that RSGM USU would achieve a "Paripurna" rating, reflecting excellence in quality and patient safety. This aligns with the institution's commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
