Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Narmada, drg., Sp.Ort(K), a distinguished professor from Universitas Airlangga, was the keynote speaker for the webinar organized by the Integrated Laboratory of FKG USU on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. With the theme, Integrated Laboratory Research as One of the Fundamentals in Evidence-Based Dentistry Development, Prof. Narmada (as he is affectionately called) delivered his presentation, moderated by Dr. Ervina Sofianti, drg. Sp.Ort(K).
Prof. Narmada is a familiar figure to the FKG USU community, having previously spoken at several of its events. Additionally, he serves as a doctoral supervisor for students at FKG USU, fostering a close relationship that contributed to the engaging atmosphere during the webinar.
The event was officially opened by Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA, Dean of FKG USU, attended by dozens of undergraduate students, professional program participants, and residents. The webinar lasted approximately three hours, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The hybrid event was held in the Nazir Alwi Hall, where more than 50 students participated in person, while another 50 joined via Zoom. The session became increasingly lively as discussions surrounding the presentation topics unfolded, creating an engaging and interactive learning experience.
