This activity served as an important moment to strengthen synergy between the education sector, dental and oral health services, and industry partners. Through the established cooperation, various collaboration opportunities are expected to support the development of dental education, research, community service, health services, and other fields that can provide benefits to institutions and the community.
PT Fondaco Jayatama was represented by drg. Yuke Rustan, Sp.KGA, along with the team. From FKG USU, the activity was attended by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes., and the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization, Dr. drg. Aini Hariyani Nasution, Sp.Perio., Subsp.RPID(K). Meanwhile, the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara was represented by its Director, drg. Rini Octavia Nasution, M.Kes., Sp.Perio., Subsp.RPID(K); Vice Director I, drg. Putri Welda Utami Ritonga, M.DSc., Sp.Pros., Subsp. PMF(K); and Vice Director II, Dr. drg. Teguh Aryo Nugroho, MDSc., Sp.Ort., Subsp.DDTK(K).
The series of activities continued with a Straumann Implant activity organized by PT Fondaco Jayatama in the Meeting Room of the Department of Periodontics, FKG USU. The activity was attended by participants of the Specialist Dentistry Program in Periodontics as part of learning activities and the development of knowledge in the field of implantology. Through this activity, participants had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and gain an understanding of the development and application of implant technology in dentistry, particularly in periodontics.
The collaboration between PT Fondaco Jayatama, the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara, and FKG USU is expected to continue developing through various educational and professional activities that support the improvement of competencies and the quality of human resources in the field of dentistry.
