The event was held on Monday, September 1, 2026, at the Nazir Alwi Meeting Room, FKG USU. The activity was opened with welcoming remarks by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes. It was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Dr. drg. Ika Andryas, M.Sc.; the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Assets, Dr. drg. Ahyar Riza, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf.; and the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Information, Dr. drg. Aini Hariyani Nasution, Sp.Perio, Subsp.RPID(K), along with students, faculty members, and educational staff of FKG USU.
The socialization covered the prevention and handling of various forms of violence in higher education environments, as well as strengthening the roles of the PPK Task Force and the Violence Prevention Team (Tim PK) in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment. The activity concluded with a discussion and question-and-answer session.
Through this activity, FKG USU continues to demonstrate its commitment to building an academic environment that is safe and free from violence while upholding the safety and dignity of every individual. This initiative also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 5: Gender Equality, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
