The guest lecture featured Prof. Eiji Tanaka, DDS, Ph.D., from the Department of Orthodontics, Tokushima University, Japan, as the keynote speaker. He delivered a lecture on the important topic “Orthodontic Approach to Patients with Temporomandibular Disorders.”

The event was also attended by the faculty leadership, including Dr. drg. Ika Andryas, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, and Dr. drg. Aini Hariyani Nasution, Sp.Perio, Subsp.RPID(K), Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization of FKG USU.

The event was officially opened with welcoming remarks by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization of FKG USU, who expressed appreciation for the speaker's presence and emphasized the importance of international academic collaboration for FKG USU.

The scientific presentation and interactive discussion session was then moderated by the Secretary of the Orthodontics Specialist Study Program, drg. Aditya Rachmawati, Sp.Ort., Subsp. DDPK(K).

As a token of appreciation for the speaker's expertise and the strong collaboration established, the event concluded with the presentation of an appreciation certificate and a special souvenir to the speaker, followed by a group photo with all participants.
