Medan, 11/11 - The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a gathering of cooperation partners at the Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention Medan on the evening of November 10, 2023. The event was organized in collaboration between the USU Faculty of Dentistry Vice Dean III and the Division of Research Development, Community Service, and Cooperation (P2KM).
Approximately 30 cooperation partners from various agencies, institutions, companies, hospitals, and other institutions attended this activity. In his remarks, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, Subsp.PKOA(K), said that the primary purpose of this event was to strengthen the relationship between FKG USU and cooperation partners who have contributed to the development of education, research, and dental health services in the North Sumatra region.
“We are very grateful for the cooperation established with our partners. Through this event, we hope to strengthen relationships, share experiences, and discuss the potential for further cooperation to improve the quality of dental education and health services in this area,” said dentist Essie Octiara.
The gathering was attended by around 75 participants, consisting of representatives of cooperation partners, lecturers, FKG USU students, and unique invitations. In addition to strengthening relationships, this event also became a discussion forum to exchange ideas and experiences between FKG USU and cooperation partners in facing various challenges in the field of dentistry.
Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention Medan was chosen for the event due to its representative and strategic facilities. Participants also enjoyed the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere of the event.
The event was closed with a networking session, during which participants could interact more deeply and make connections. FKG USU hopes that this event will not only serve as a momentum to celebrate existing collaborations but also as a first step towards creating greater joint innovations in the future.
