The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), conducted a Control Meeting (Rapat Pengendalian/RP) for the Follow-Up Action Plan (Rencana Tindak Lanjut/RTL) as part of its continuous efforts to ensure and enhance academic quality and institutional governance. This activity served as a strategic forum to evaluate the implementation of work programs and to ensure that each follow-up action plan is carried out in accordance with established standards.

The meeting, held in an atmosphere of constructive discussion, involved the faculty leadership together with quality assurance teams from all levels of study programs, ranging from the Professional Dental Education Study Program (PSPPDG), the Specialist Dental Education Program (PPDGS), to postgraduate programs (Master’s and Doctoral levels) within the FKG USU environment.

In this forum, each study program presented the achievements of their follow-up action plan implementation, the challenges encountered, and the improvement strategies to be undertaken moving forward. The discussions were not only evaluative in nature, but also focused on formulating concrete steps to enhance the effectiveness of the quality assurance system at every level of education.

Through this Follow-Up Action Plan Control Meeting, FKG USU reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement in the implementation of education, research, and community service. Synergy between the faculty leadership and all academic units is expected to foster the creation of a strong and sustainable quality culture within FKG USU.

This activity also reflects FKG USU’s seriousness in maintaining the quality of its graduates and ensuring that all academic processes are aligned with the faculty’s vision as a leading and competitive institution of dental education.
