The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), conducted its MUSREMBANG (Development Planning Meeting) at Hotel Harper on Friday, October 28, 2022. Faculty leadership, all departments, study programs, and FKG USU academic community representatives attended the event.
The Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg, officially opened the meeting. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, accompanied by Vice Dean I (Dr. drg. Olivia Avriyanti Hanafiah, Sp.BM(K)) and Vice Dean II (drg. Rini Octavia Nasution, S.H., M.Kes., Sp.Perio(K)). In her opening remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of aligning the faculty's 2023 needs with the vision and mission of the university. This alignment is essential for achieving the university's targeted accomplishments and advancing its goals.
The meeting addressed various requirements across departments and study programs, from minor needs to major infrastructure developments, such as learning facilities and teaching equipment procurement. Additionally, discussions focused on the faculty's 2023 targets and strategies for achieving them. Beyond the core agenda, the meeting also touched on issues at the faculty and program levels and planned upcoming activities.
Due to the extensive nature of the MUSREMBANG deliberations, the meeting focused on key ideas, which will later be detailed in official documents to be submitted to the university. The process of completing these documents will continue at the faculty level.
