This activity was part of the coordination between FKG USU and RSGM USU to support the implementation of education for students of the Specialist Dentist Professional Education Program, particularly throughout their educational process and clinical activities in the hospital environment.

The activity was attended by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes.; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, Dr. drg. Ika Andryas, M.Sc.; Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Assets, Dr. drg. Ahyar Riza, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf.; Director of RSGM USU, Dr. drg. Rini Octavia Nasution, M.Kes., Sp.Perio., Subsp.RPID (K); Deputy Director I, drg. Putri Welda Utami Ritonga, M.DSc., Sp.Pros., Subsp.PMF (K); Deputy Director II, Dr. drg. Teguh Aryo Nugroho, M.DSc., Sp.Ort., Subsp.DDTK (K); as well as the management teams of the PPDGS Study Programs at FKG USU.

Following the handover ceremony, the activity continued with an orientation session for the 38 new students, delivered by RSGM USU staff. The session provided an initial introduction to the hospital environment, regulations, and various aspects that students need to consider while undertaking their education and clinical activities at RSGM USU.

This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through the implementation of structured specialist education based on clinical experience, and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, through strengthening the education of healthcare professionals who contribute to improving the quality of oral and dental healthcare services.

In addition, this activity aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening synergy between FKG USU and RSGM USU in supporting education and healthcare services.
