Medan, March 8, 2024 - The Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) celebrated its sixth anniversary with great enthusiasm. This event became even more special with the active participation of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) USU who also enlivened the event.
Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. Subsp.PKOA (K) was also present in this series of 6th RSGM USU Anniversary events.
RSGM USU presents several activities, including blood donations, dental examinations, discount vouchers, and several health checks, and the most attention-grabbing are Workshop and Beauty Class activities. In this activity the Dean of FKG USU was eager to follow it, not only the Dean, the education staff (tendik) from FKG USU was also directly involved in this activity.
Not only that, but Civitas also participated in a series of activities for the 6th Anniversary of RSGM USU. They participated in various activities, ranging from dental health seminars to social services for free dental health checks for the surrounding community.
The 6th Anniversary of RSGM USU was also filled with various other interesting activities, such as scientific poster competitions, practical workshops, and national seminars on innovation in the field of dentistry. In addition, an exhibition of the latest research and development results conducted by medical personnel and academics of RSGM USU was also held.
According to Dr. Putri Handayani, one of the dentists involved in the event, the USU Faculty of Dentistry's participation greatly enriched the 6th Anniversary of RSGM USU. "Their presence is not only as spectators, but also actively involved in various activities, both as speakers and participants," said Dr. Putri.
The 6th Anniversary of RSGM USU is not only a momentum to celebrate the long journey of RSGM USU, but also a place to strengthen cooperation between institutions in the development of dentistry in North Sumatra. It is hoped that the collaboration between FKG USU and RSGM USU can continue to be improved in order to achieve even better progress in the future.
