The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), conducted an outreach visit and cooperation initiative with the Deli Serdang Regency Government. The visit was warmly received by the Regent of Deli Serdang, dr. H. Asri Ludin Tambunan, M.Ked(PD), Sp.PD-KGEH, FINASIM, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Deli Serdang Regency TP PKK, who is also the wife of the Regent of Deli Serdang, dr. Hj. Jelita Siregar, Sp.PD, along with officials of the Deli Serdang Regency Government.
The meeting provided a forum to discuss opportunities for collaboration in improving public oral and dental health, particularly through strengthening education, promotive and preventive efforts, and addressing dental caries among children. This collaboration is also expected to support sustainable community service activities that are aligned with the needs of the people of Deli Serdang Regency.

Through this meeting, FKG USU and the Deli Serdang Regency Government continue to open opportunities for synergy in developing programs that provide benefits to the community while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
