Alumni of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU) from the second period of the 2023/2024 Academic Year, namely alumni with registration numbers 4796 to 4923, gathered in the dean's room to hand over valuable donations for the progress of FKG USU. This event was held on Wednesday (22/11) and was received directly by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA(K) was accompanied by Vice Dean III, Dr. Pitu Wulandari, drg., SPi., Sp.Perio(K).
The donations submitted by the alumni included 2 laptops, 1 printer, 1 TV, and a standing bracket, totaling IDR 57,6 million. This donation is expected to improve the facilities and quality of education at FKG USU and positively impact the development of dentistry.
During the handover ceremony, the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. Essie Octiara, expressed her profound gratitude to the alumni for their outstanding contributions. She emphasized the importance of alumni support in developing and improving educational standards at FKG USU.
Vice Dean III, Dr. Pitu Wulandari, also appreciated the alumni's concern and dedication. She hopes that this donation will inspire other alumni to be involved in developing and improving the quality of education at FKG USU.
The alumni who attended expressed their happiness at being able to contribute directly to their beloved alma mater. They hope that this donation can help FKG USU students pursue success in the future.
This event is essential to strengthening the relationship between alumni and FKG USU. It is clear evidence that the spirit of cooperation and a sense of togetherness is still alive among FKG USU alumni.
