The Alumni Association (IKAL) of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, represented by drg. Wahid Khusyairi, MM, on Thursday, December 30, 2021, officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Chairperson of the Dentist Education and Professional Study Program of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), drg. Nurdiana, Sp.PM, in the presence of the Dean of FKG USU, dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. At the same meeting, the Chairperson of IKAL FKG USU also handed over donations from FKG USU alumni to FKG USU in the form of goods consisting of 5 dental units, 5 water tanks, 5 high-speed handpieces, 5 low-speed handpieces, 5 LED scalers, and 5 gallons of Aqua worth Rp212,208,107.
This donation is intended to fulfill educational facilities and infrastructure at FKG USU. This collaboration aims to develop and enhance cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service organized by both parties. The meeting was also attended by Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Dentistry, drg. Rini Octavia, Sp.Perio(K); Vice Dean III FKG USU, dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari, Sp.Perio(K); and Deputy Director II of RSGM USU, drg. Kholidina Imanda Harahap, MDSc, and representatives of FKG USU alumni. On this occasion, the dean expressed his gratitude and high appreciation to the USU FKG alumni who have helped and contributed to the progress of the USU FKG.
