Medan, August 18, 2023 - The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU) successfully held the New Student Campus Life Development and Introduction (PKKMB) or Orientation event on Friday, August 18, 2023. The event, which 124 new students attended, took place with enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
In this PPKMB event, new FKG USU students were introduced to campus life, the learning environment, and various campus facilities. This PKKMB activity is the first step for new students in adapting to the new campus environment.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara Sp. KGA, Subsp.PKOA(K) expressed her hope that this PKKMB would be a milestone for new students in developing themselves as good academics and individuals with strong character and global competitiveness. He also emphasized the importance of discipline, cooperation, and enthusiasm in pursuing knowledge in dentistry.
The new students' enthusiasm was evident from their participation in the entire series of events. They enthusiastically followed each session, actively asked questions, and interacted well with their peers.
PKKMB FKG USU, which will take place over the next few days, is expected to create a strong foundation for new students undergoing their college journey and help them adapt to the new campus environment. With the spirit of togetherness and collaboration, the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universitas Sumatera Utara starts the new academic year with optimism and hope to provide positive experiences and in-depth knowledge for new students. Through this PKKMB, new FKG USU students can start their educational journey well and become a young generation ready to face various challenges in dentistry.
