The Farewell and Welcoming Ceremony for the Head of the Dental Industry Service Unit Laboratory (Lab UJI) at FKG USU was held on August 5, 2022, in the Nazir Alwi Room at FKG USU. The Dean of FKG USU attended the event, Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA, and Vice Deans: Dr. drg. Olivia Avriyanti Hanafiah, Sp.BM(K) (Vice Dean I), Dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari, S.Psi., Sp.Perio(K) (Vice Dean III), as well as Professors, previous and newly appointed Laboratory Heads, FKG USU lecturers, and staff.
Event Highlights
The event began with the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, followed by a prayer and a welcome speech, along with the reading of the Decree by Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. In her speech, Dr. Essie Octiara expressed that Lab UJI is a source of pride for the faculty and hoped for its further development and advancement.
Handover of Position
The ceremony continued with the official handover of duties from the outgoing Head of Lab UJI, Dwi Tjahyaning Putranti, drg., MS, to the new Head, Prof. Haslinda Z Tamim, drg., M.Kes., Sp.Pros(K), along with their respective teams.
The event concluded with a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
