The Student Parents Association (POM) FKG USU year 2023 handed over a donation. Two units of computer sets, one unit of air conditioner, one unit of printer, an internet subscription package, and other devices were handed over directly to the Dean of the USU Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Essie Octiara, drg., Sp.KGA., Subsp.PKOA(K), in an event witnessed by the Dean and Staff of the USU Faculty of Dentistry.
At this event, the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. Essie Octiara, drg, Sp.KGA, Subsp.PKOA(K), accepted the donation with gratitude. “We are very grateful for the donation made by POM FKG USU in 2023. This is a big step towards improving the quality of education and student comfort in the learning process in the library,” said Dr. Essie Octiara.
Also attending the event were Vice Dean I of the USU Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Olivia Avriyanti Hanafiah, drg., Sp.B.M.M., Subsp.C.O.M. (K), and Vice Dean III of the USU Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari S.Psi, Sp.Perio, Subsp.MP (K). Their presence fully supported the POM FKG USU initiative in 2023 to improve educational facilities in the FKG USU environment.
The donation process was carried out symbolically by the Head of POM FKG USU 2023, drg. Elna Zafitri, and Treasurer, drg. Lidya Sartika Perangin angin. Both said that the donation was a tangible manifestation of POM FKG USU's commitment to supporting education in the campus environment.
“We hope that this donation can provide comfort for students in the learning process at the FKG USU library. Hopefully the facilities provided can be a useful tool for the advancement of education and research at FKG USU,” said drg. Elna Zafitri.
The donation made by POM FKG USU in 2023 is expected to improve the quality of services and facilities in the FKG USU library. Two computer sets will make it easier for students to access information and conduct research, while one unit of air conditioning will provide comfort in a library room that is often crowded with visitors.
In addition, subscription internet packages and other devices will expand students' access to information sources and literature needed in the learning and research process.
The Dean of FKG USU also emphasized that this donation will be fully integrated into the education and service system at FKG USU, so that it can provide maximum benefits for the entire academic community.
The donation ceremony marked a joint commitment to continuously improve the quality of education and facilities at the Faculty of Dentistry USU. Hopefully, the donation will inspire others to contribute to education development in Indonesia.
