To expand the international cooperation network and improve the quality of education and research in dentistry, the USU Faculty of Dentistry has successfully established strategic cooperation with the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to meet the needs of KPI 6.
IKU 6, targeted by FKG USU, is International Cooperation. In this case, FKG USU has the opportunity to collaborate with the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology University of Medicine and Pharmacy, which targets the three pillars of education, namely Research, Education, and Community Service.
The signing of this cooperation agreement was held directly at the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City. This event is an important milestone for both higher education institutions in an effort to strengthen collaboration and exchange of knowledge in the field of dentistry.
In some moments, Vice Dean III of the USU Faculty of Dentistry Dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari S.Psi, Sp.Perio, Subsp.MP (K) conveyed the profile of FKG USU in several ways, namely through the Video Profile and Presentation Profile of FKG USU.
"Cooperation between higher education institutions not only enriches students' academic experience, but also opens up new opportunities for joint research and in-depth knowledge exchange," said Dr. Pitu.
In addition to the Vice Dean III of the USU FKG, the Head of the Dentist Education and Profession Study Program drg. Nurdiana Sp.PM.
This cooperation not only includes student exchanges but also involves collaboration in scientific research and curriculum development relevant to the latest developments in the field of dentistry. These exchange programs are expected to provide valuable learning experiences for dental students from both sides and enrich their insights into clinical practice and research at the international level.
In addition, this collaboration will provide opportunities to organize joint seminars, conferences, and workshops to enhance understanding and skills in dentistry. This will help strengthen collaboration between researchers and produce innovations that benefit society.
The cooperation between the USU Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City is a progressive step in efforts to improve the quality of education and research in the field of dentistry.
