This activity is part of the National Scientific Meeting (PIN) of Pediatric Dentistry (IKGA) organized by the Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry (IDGAI) North Sumatra Chapter. The PIN begins with a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 08:00, held virtually via conference. This event is a collaboration between IDGAI North Sumatra and the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU).
Participants in the CPD session include 249 Pediatric Dentists from across Indonesia, moderated by drg. Ami Angela Harahap, Sp.KGA., MDSc, with Prof. Dent. Johan Aps (DDS, hD Paed Dent Special Needs, MSc. DMFR) is the speaker from the University of Applied Science, Ghent, Belgium. The CPD topic is "The Guidelines, Interpretation, Analysis of Dentocraniofacial Radiograph in Normal and Special-Needs Children for Pediatric Dentists", aimed at enhancing the skills of Pediatric Dentistry Specialists in radiology for diagnosis and therapeutic actions in pediatric patients.
The CPD seminar is divided into two sessions: the first session, which will be held from 09:15 to 12:00 and feature presentations by the speaker, and the second session, which will be held from 13:30 to 16:00 and involve Hands-On activities by the same speaker. All organizing committee members are in the Nazir Alwi Room, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Participants are enthusiastic about attending this event, which concludes at 16:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
