Promovenda Siti Salmiah completed the Doctoral Promotion Examination and officially earned her doctoral degree, adding another doctoral graduate to the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Her achievement is expected to inspire and motivate the academic community to continue producing outstanding doctoral graduates in the field of dental sciences.

The Doctoral Promotion Examination was opened and chaired by the Vice Rector IV of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar, S.T., M.M.IT., who served as the Chair of the Examination. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, USU, Dr. drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes., and the Head of the Doctoral Program in Dental Sciences, Prof. Dr. drg. Ameta Primasari, MDSc., M.Kes., Sp.PMM.

The examination was led by Prof. Dr. Syafruddin Ilyas, M.Biomed., as Promotor. Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA., Subsp.PKOA.(K) served as Co-Promotor I, while Dr. drg. Olivia Avriyanti Hanafiah, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf. served as Co-Promotor II.

The examination panel consisted of Prof. Dr. Harry Agusnar, M.Sc. as Examiner I, Prof. Dr. drg. Ameta Primasari, M.DSc., M.Kes., Sp.PMM as Examiner II, and Dr. drg. Suzanna Sungkar, Sp.KGA. from Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh, as Examiner III. The examination also included an external examiner, Prof. Dr. drg. Ellyza Herda, M.Si. from Universitas Indonesia.
