Medan, 31/08 - A community service event aimed at increasing knowledge about the function and structure of teeth as a step towards improving quality of life was successfully held in Medan City, North Sumatra. The event, led by Drg. Mutia Amalia Nasution M.Biomed.Sp.Ort.Subsp.DDPK(K), took place on 31 August 2023 at the AMCF Asia Muslim Charity Foundation's North Sumateran Humanitarian Center Hall.

To increase the community's understanding of the importance of dental care and oral health, especially for students, and drugs. Mutia Amalia Nasution organized a Community Service. This event also aims to reduce oral health problems, which can generally be prevented with the proper knowledge.

During the Community Service, the students and other participants were given a more in-depth understanding of the function and structure of teeth, proper dental care, and the possible health impacts of poorly addressed dental problems. The participants were also given information on the importance of maintaining oral health as an integral part of general health.

This event is also an example of how the medical community, like drg. Mutia Amalia Nasution can contribute positively to society by sharing their knowledge. The North Sumatera Humanitarian Center AMCF Asia Muslim Charity Foundation played the role of host by providing comfortable facilities for this Community Service.

In her speech, drg. Mutia Amalia Nasution said, “Oral health is an important part of overall body health. We hope that through this Community Service, we can give students and the general public useful knowledge to maintain their dental health properly, so that they can enjoy a better quality of life.”

The community service received a positive response from the participants, who appreciated the effort to raise awareness of the importance of dental health. This event is a clear example of how community service can shape a society that is more aware of their health and improve the overall quality of life.
