A team of assessors recently visited the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) to see the facilities firsthand. They checked the laboratories, CBT & OSCE Center, and USU Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM).
The visit also involved interviews with alumni and stakeholders. The primary purpose of the visit was to ensure that all facilities support a good teaching-learning process and comply with accreditation standards.
The results of this visitation are expected to provide a complete picture of the study program's performance. In addition, they will also be the basis for improving and developing dental education at FKG USU. A good accreditation is expected to improve the reputation of the study program and ensure that its graduates can compete both domestically and abroad.
FKG USU continues to strive to produce qualified dentists who are ready to face challenges in the workplace.
