On April 12, 2023, Drg. Ma Jupeter, Sp.Perio, Chairperson of the Alumni Association of the Specialist Program in Periodontics, donated 25 million IDR to the Chair of the Specialist Program in Periodontics, Drg. Aini Hariyani, Sp.Perio(K), and the Secretary of the Department of Periodontics, Drg. Armia Syahputra, Sp.Perio(K), at the Dean's office of FKG USU. The donation, which included a Hiossen Crestal Approach - Sinus Kit and Zero Bone Loss Concepts, was handed over in the presence of Drg. Andrew, Sp.Perio.
The donation was witnessed by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. Drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA. During the discussion, she expressed her gratitude for the generous contribution, which will significantly assist in the learning process within the Specialist Program in Periodontics.
The Hiossen Crestal Approach - Sinus Kit is a CAS kit that facilitates the placement of dental implants in the posterior maxilla. This kit includes a set of drills and tools designed for easier and safer sinus augmentation at specific angles. The price of the Hiossen Crestal Approach-Sinus Kit is approximately 25 million IDR. The IKA Perio also donated a book titled Zero Bone Loss Concepts, which serves as a valuable learning resource for students.
