Alumni of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) from batches 4924 to 4972 have contributed to renovating the multi-purpose glass room at the FKG USU. The renovation aims to change the function of the room into a multipurpose glass room that is more functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The glass room, previously an unattractive warehouse part of the USU Faculty of Dentistry building, has now been completely renovated thanks to voluntary donations from alumni committed to improving campus facilities. The renovation is part of their efforts to improve the condition of the campus infrastructure and positively impact students and staff.
In an official statement, the Dean of USU's Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA(K), expressed pride in the contributions made by the alumni. She stated, "We are very grateful for the donations made by the alumni. The renovation of the multipurpose glass room will provide great benefits for the use of the Faculty and create a more comfortable environment for students and staff."
The renovated storage room will become a strategic place to store goods and equipment needed by the Faculty for education and research activities. With this change in room function, space usage efficiency is hoped to improve so that the teaching and learning process and campus administration activities can run more smoothly.
According to the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Bambang Suryadi, the renovation of the glass room is clear evidence of the unity and concern of the alumni community for the development of the Faculty. "We are grateful for the donations made by the alumni. This renovation will have a great positive impact on campus life and encourage a spirit of collaboration among all parties involved in the development of the Faculty," he said.
With this large donation, FKG USU has further strengthened its position as one of the leading faculties in Indonesia in the field of dentistry. The spirit of togetherness and support from alumni is the main driver for better campus progress and achievements in the future.
