FKG USU-11/01. Taking part in the Academic Visit & Exchange of the Faculty of Dentistry activities at Chulalongkorn University, FKG USU sent 6 students to visit on January 3-7 2023, Bangkok Thailand.
In this activity, FKG USU students were accompanied by Vice Dean III Dr. drg. Pitu Wulandari, Sp.Perio(K), Head of FKG USU PSPPDG Study Program drg. Nurdiana, Sp.PM and Secretary of FKG USU PSPPDG Study Program drg. Mutia Amalia Nasution, M. Biomed., Sp.Ort who was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Chulalongkorn University Prof. Dr. Pornchai Chan Sityanon and accompanied by Deputy Dean for Research Prof. Dr. Thanaphum Osathanon. The warm welcome signifies the good relationship between USU Faculty of Dentistry and Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Dentistry.
Academic Visit & Exchange Program 2022 Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Thailand is an exchange program for dentistry students. This program aims to build connections between dental students around the world by providing enriching activities such as clinical exchanges, academic visits, cultural exchanges and so on.
Academic Visit & Exchange Program 2022 Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Thailand, FKG USU sent 6 student representatives namely Angeline, Wilfried Margono, Sherin Levina, Ananda Luthfiyyah Husna, Malika Khairanti Nasution, and Karen Angelica Penansia Siahaan. By sending the six students, it is hoped that they will be able to pass on the knowledge they have acquired and also be able to introduce the unique culture of the North Sumatra Province to other countries.
Apart from FKG USU students, this activity was also attended by students from various countries such as Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and USA with a total of 32 students. This is a program created by the Faculty of Dentistry Chulalongkorn University. This activity was carried out so that preclinical students could exchange culture and learning systems from each university. Learning lectures and workshops regarding digital technology that affects dental implants and genomic abnormalities on dental and oral health. The program was closed with a Farewell Party and FKG USU students used Ulos and Batik to introduce the culture of North Sumatra and Indonesia to other attending countries.
