Faculty of Dentistry

The USU Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) serves as a facility for dental and oral healthcare services while supporting the learning, education, and research processes of the dental healthcare profession. It is linked through collaborations with the Faculty of Dentistry and the Dental Medicine Collegium. Following the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 1173/MENKES/PER/IX/2004, articles 8 and 9, RSGM USU provides facilities that align with its functions, which include delivering basic dental care, specialist services, supportive services, referral services, emergency services, education, research, and development. Currently, RSGM USU offers eight types of outpatient clinic services: Oral Disease Clinic, Periodontics Clinic, Conservative Dentistry Clinic, Orthodontics Clinic, Prosthodontics Clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, and Preventive Dentistry/Community Dentistry Clinic. In addition to outpatient services, RSGM USU is equipped with supportive medical services such as pharmacy, radiology, sterilization centers, and adequate environmental management (AMDAL) facilities. The Information and Management System at RSGM USU is also centralized through the Indonesian Ministry of Health’s Hospital Information System (SIRS).
