ANNOUNCEMENT
No. 3242/UN5.2.1.6/SSA/2023

 

Based on the letter from the Head of the Library of Universitas Sumatera Utara No. 494/UN5.2.6/KPM/2023 dated July 24, 2023, concerning the Submission of Students’ Final Projects and the Issuance of Library Clearance Certificate (SKBP) of the USU Library, we hereby inform the students of the Faculty of Dentistry regarding the provisions for the submission of final project softcopies and the issuance of the Library Clearance Certificate (SKBP) as follows:

  1. The Library Clearance Certificate (SKBP) is issued solely for graduation requirements, not for final project defense requirements, since once the SKBP is processed, the Library Automation System (LIBAS) will automatically deactivate the library membership card, while in practice some students may still need the library for final project revisions.

  2. Submission of the students’ final project to the USU Library must be in the form of a softcopy, which has already been finalized/completed with revisions and signed by the authorized parties.

  3. The University Library and branch libraries will no longer accept final project submissions in printed form.
