Congratulations and best wishes to the lecturers and academic community of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), whose community service proposals have been successfully selected for funding under the TALENTA Community Service Program (USU Non-PNBP Funding Source) for Fiscal Year 2026!
This achievement was made possible through various community service innovations, covering programs under the Disaster Mitigation, Health, and Student Community Service schemes.

Through concrete initiatives in the field—from providing dental healthcare for communities affected by flooding, delivering curative and preventive dental caries services in schools, to providing herbal education for older adults—these programs collectively contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The programs directly support SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through health initiatives; SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the promotion of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in schools; SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through efforts to support disaster-affected areas and strengthen community resilience; SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through the responsible use of local herbal resources; and SDG 15 (Life on Land) through the optimal and responsible utilization of environmental resources.
May the implementation of the 2026 TALENTA community service programs run smoothly, deliver broad and sustainable benefits to communities, and continue to bring pride to the Faculty of Dentistry USU!
