Medan — On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 143 new students participated in the PKKMB at the Faculty of Dentistry after attending the University-level PKKMB opening ceremony at the USU Twin Field. At the faculty level, the program began with a group photo at the Faculty of Dentistry parking area, followed by activities in the Nazir Alwi Room, a campus clean-up, and a tour of the Faculty of Dentistry.
Medan — On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 143 new students participated in the PKKMB at the Faculty of Dentistry after attending the University-level PKKMB opening ceremony at the USU Twin Field. At the faculty level, the activities began with a warm welcome and a group photo at the Faculty of Dentistry parking area.
The program continued in the Nazir Alwi Room with an introduction to the faculty leadership and a presentation on strengthening the achievements of the Tridharma of Higher Education, as well as faculty and student innovation achievements at the Faculty of Dentistry USU. The presentation was delivered directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry USU, Dr. drg. Gema Nazri Yanti, M.Kes.
As an initial orientation, new students of the Faculty of Dentistry USU also received comprehensive materials delivered by dedicated speakers:

The 2026 Faculty PKKMB also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by strengthening students’ readiness to pursue higher education. In addition, the values of integrity, equality, inclusivity, leadership, and contribution to society promoted throughout the program are also aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Beyond classroom-based sessions, the activities concluded with a Campus Tour covering departments, laboratories, and the USU Dental Hospital (RSGM USU), helping new students become more familiar with their academic and clinical learning environment.
On Friday, August 14, 2026, new students participated in various activities designed not only to strengthen their sense of togetherness but also to foster environmental awareness and introduce them to student life and organizations at the Faculty of Dentistry USU.
The activities began at 6:30 a.m. with a Campus Clean-Up Movement and flower planting throughout the gardens of the Faculty of Dentistry USU. Through this activity, new students were encouraged to work together to create a clean, green, and comfortable campus environment while developing environmental awareness from the beginning of their journey as members of the Faculty of Dentistry USU community.
