Description

The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU) is excited to present the Open House for Specialist in Dentistry Education Programs, Master's (S2), and Doctoral (S3) Programs 2023, which will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023, from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB. The event will begin with an opening session led by Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA(K), the Dean of FKG USU, followed by a general presentation and registration session by Dr. Olivia Avriyanti Hanafiah, drg., Sp.BM(K), the Vice Dean of FKG USU.

 

The program will then continue with detailed presentations for each specialization, starting with the Orthodontics Specialist Program, presented by Erlies Octarina, drg., Sp.Ort(K) and Aditya Rachmaditha, drg., Sp.Ort(K), followed by the Prosthodontics Specialist Program, led by Ricca Chairunnisa, drg., Sp.Pros(K) and Putri Welda Utami Ritonga, drg., MDSc., Sp.Pros(K). The session on Master’s and Doctoral Programs (S2 & S3) will be presented by Prof. Sondang Pintauli, drg., Ph.D. and Dr. Filia Dana Tyasingsih, drg., M.Kes, continuing with the Periodontology Specialist Program, which will be discussed by Aini Hariyani Nasution, drg., Sp.Perio(K) and Martina Amalia, drg., Sp.Perio(K). The final specialist session will focus on the Conservative Dentistry Specialist Program, presented by Wandania Farahany, drg., MDSc., Sp.KG(K) and Widi Prasetya, drg., Sp.KG(K).

 

An Alumni Talk Show will be held to conclude the event featuring Dr. drg. Suci Erawati, M.Kes, drg. Herlina Yusdani, MDSc, drg. Reni Hastarin, Sp.Ort, drg. Silvia Lim, Sp.KG, drg. Muhamad Kadafi, Sp.KG, and drg. Joseph Dede Hartanto Ginting, Sp.Pros, who will share their experiences and insights on their journey in dentistry. This Open House event will take place at Jalan Alumni No. 2, Faculty of Dentistry, USU, and provides a valuable opportunity for prospective students to gain in-depth knowledge about their future in dental education.
