The Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Dental Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, once again presented a Guest Lecture as part of efforts to broaden academic perspectives, strengthen academic networks, and promote research development in the field of dental medicine.
On this occasion, Dr. Wan Izlina Wan Ibrahim from the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, served as the guest speaker and delivered a lecture on the topic:
“From Molecular Discovery to Precision Medicine: The Role of Genomics and Proteomics in Biomarker Research”
Through this topic, participants were invited to explore developments in biomarker research, from molecular discovery to the application of precision medicine, as well as the roles of genomics and proteomics in supporting research development and more precise healthcare services.
