Community service is one of the pillars of the Tridarma activities of higher education that must be implemented by a university. Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2018, the national standard of medical education aims to ensure the quality of education, research and community service organized by the Faculty of Dentistry in accordance with predetermined criteria. This is inseparable from the context of efforts to achieve the results of an activity based on a Roadmap as part of the performance of the state apparatus in the documentation of the implementation of activities within a certain time span in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform. 9 of 2011. In its implementation, the process of research and dedication of a lecturer absolutely involves students as a form of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education, in addition to education and teaching. The commitment in the USU FKG Roadmap to realize competitive excellence is Natural Resources, Technology, and arts which are part of USU's excellence, namely TALENTA. Through the Community Service Institute (LPPM-USU), the USU FKG can answer this challenge.
