Department of Pediatric Dentistry

Pediatric Dentistry is a branch of dentistry that studies the growth and development of children, studies how to build good communication between pediatric patients and their families, studies dental and oral health clinical services for pediatric patients which include promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative measures; and studies about working together in an integrated manner among other fields of dentistry in providing excellent dental and oral health services for children.

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry has 7 teaching staff with qualifications of 1 Doctoral, 3 Pediatric Dentistry Specialists, 4 Masters, and a Bachelor. The names of the staff are as follows:

  • Preventive and interceptive orthodontic
  • Early childhood caries prevention
  • Aesthetic dental restorations of children
  • Traumatic injury handling of children’s teeth
